You will receive an updated written plan after each session, with adjustments to your diet, supplements and lifestyle recommendations as needed.

Examples of Testing Available

Gut and Stool Testing

Provides a comprehensive snapshot of digestive function and the microbiome at a given point in time. It can be useful not only for digestive complaints, but also for more chronic symptoms where gut function may play a role, for example through its impact on inflammation.

In addition to analysing the microbiome, these tests assess key host markers such as immune activity, inflammation, intestinal permeability and potential bleeding. They can also provide insight into digestive function, including how effectively digestive secretions are supporting the breakdown and absorption of nutrients such as fats and proteins.

Hormone Testing

Assesses hormone patterns and fluctuations to understand how hormonal balance may be influencing symptoms such as migraines, fatigue, mood and menstrual health.

DUTCH Hormone Testing

A more detailed assessment that measures a range of hormone metabolites, including those related to oestrogen, progesterone, testosterone and cortisol. This provides a deeper understanding of how hormones are produced, broken down and balanced within the body.

Adrenal Testing

Evaluates stress response patterns and cortisol rhythms, helping to understand fatigue, sleep disruption and resilience to stress.

Thyroid Testing

Provides a comprehensive view of thyroid function, which plays a key role in energy, metabolism and overall health.

Organic Acids Testing

Assesses a range of metabolites produced by the body’s metabolic pathways, including those involved in energy production. This provides an indirect insight into how these pathways are functioning and can help identify potential nutrient needs, as many of these processes rely on specific vitamins and minerals as cofactors.

Plasma Amino Acids Testing

Provides insight into how metabolic processes in the body are functioning by assessing amino acid levels. Patterns of high or low levels can suggest where certain pathways may not be working efficiently, and can also give an indication of how well amino acids are being obtained and utilised from dietary protein.

Nutrigenomics (Genetic Testing)

Explores how your genetics may influence how you process and utilise nutrients, helping to tailor a more individualised approach.

Nutritional Status Testing

Identifies potential deficiencies or imbalances in key nutrients that may be contributing to symptoms.

Functional Blood Testing

Provides a broader overview of health through detailed biomarkers, helping to identify patterns in areas such as inflammation, nutrient status and metabolic function.

Other Functional Testing

Additional tests may be recommended where appropriate, depending on your individual presentation.

How Testing is Used

Any testing is carefully selected based on your individual presentation and discussed with you in advance.

Results are interpreted in the context of your symptoms, health history and goals, and translated into clear, practical recommendations that form part of your overall plan.
